The interesting life of zebras.

Zebras are peaceful creatures. They play together. They feed together. They try to bother no one. However, if one zebra is attacked by a lion, the other zebras do not run away. They stand around and watch. They do nothing. Individual zebra behavior is not the way I wish to live my life.

In contrast, if the collective group of zebras see that lion off in the distance, they will start to run around in a circle. Why? Their stripes make them look like one large creature, and it confuses the lion, and the lion chooses not to attack. May we be the collective zebras.

“If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run together.” — African Proverb
